Diane and Carolien's V W X

I used simple black and white this week.
Vigne, W-2 and x-something. Whoops. But I used a string!  Yes indeed!!!
Had fun and enjoyed keeping it simple.
Sarah.

String Thing 5/27/15

I used the tangles Wistful, Sooflower, and Fleuri. It was a good string, 094, and I had fun with color. Thanks. Sarah.

Joeys Weekly Challenge 'Victoria/memorial day

This past Monday we paid tribute to our veterans and soldiers on Memorial Day. So I made an urn with flowers and a Zentangle inspired Victorian pattern on the side for Victoria Day. I salute all of our troops here and Canadian and the free world.

Inchie Envelope 5/25/2015

Here it is. Front facing. A letter in an envelope.

I am the diva challenge- straight lines only!

This is using a straight string with Woe-Van, one I can't remember, I will call it corn chips, and Twile. Not a curved line. A parallel, a vertical a perpendicular, slanted, off center, horizontal and I gurantee no curves. I really tried!
Sarah.

Last week's roundup!

Hello all!
Here's a few things I worked on that might not have posted.

Diane and Carolien's 'STU'

I used a string for my tile which I'm proud of. :)
I used the tangles tree bark, shamblee, sun, sand swirl, and up and down I think...  Don't quote me for sure on those!  I just know I had a lovely time making rolling hills with trees and wind and leaves. :)
Sarah.

String Thing #93 May 18

Very difficult string for me, but I need the challenge, right?  :)
Sarah.

That's New to Me 'X' and choose a tangle

I have been enjoying seeing all things that come with spring outdoors, grass, and leaves and so many plants!  I guess that's where my mind. I used X Petal, Sanibelle, rocks, Vigne, Aura-Leaf, and Ace. I even did a string and kept to it. So much structure for me!  :)

Diva Challenge #218, - black tile

I love gelly roll pens so black paper was ok with me!  Tried to break up the string I used that was using Jetties and Sistar, with an unnamed tangle from Ms. West.
As always, I enjoyed the challenge!!

Square One - Zinger

It's Zinger. Yup. I'm finding zero words to make a plausible statement about the attributes of this tangle, Zinger.  It's a tasty type of Twinkie. That's all I have. Zinger=0.
Sarah

Inchie Monday:- Movie

It's a ticket. Or two. I honestly like going to the movies alone. Dog can't go. Hasn't been trained in a theater. He'd be cool to hang with at the movies. :)
Sarah.

Joey's Challenge #61- flower string

I used the flower string recommended and did it on my undecided if I like it gray tiles, and used these:  Aura Leaf, Enyshou Libre, round things, a trolius leaf from a friend's garden, shells and something I didn't write down originally. If anyone knows what the two tangles are a check for a million bucks is in the mail for their names. :)
I was out in the swampy marsh last week before getting the flu, so my tiles have been sprinkled with my horticultural adventures. Thanks for stopping by!
Sarah

Ornation Creation #100 teapot

Laced and blue!

Wacky Zentangle weekly: 15 minutes

It was 21. Minutes. I'm not at the top of my game. Used Enyshou Libre, Aura Leaf, waves, cloud pop, msst, Bunzo, shells or something, and a clam or rock I forgot to write down.

Wacky Zentangle challenge May flowers

Here are the flowers, but they will be somewhat uncolored. Left to the imagination.  Used Aura Leaf, Aura Knot, Erbluehen, sun, Pop Cloud, and Pokeroot.
Sarah.

Tangleation vocation 12 with shading

This is finished:  and below is the before picture without shading. Sarah.

Tangleation Vocation #12 Prestwood

I used cayke, onamato, and of course Prestwood. I just picked some other draping and linear tangles to compliment the curves in Prestwood. Thanks! Here is the link to the site for the challenge:

Inchie diagram

Found a diagram for a bunson burner. Spelling may be incorrect. Whoops. Sarah.

That's new to me! Challenge

Was sick all week but finally got a few challenges done now that I'm feeling better. I just did simple flowers. I was in a simple kind of mood! :). The tangles used were Erbluehen, Enyshou en Grille, Enyshou libre, and Cloud Pop.
Sarah

Diane and Carolien's weekly challenge

I had the flu but made a late entry!  It's using pinballz, quaternary and the r tangle I can't recall. Need to write these things down. Blame it on being sick I guess!  Sarah.

WU-181 Foufou!

This is my attempt at this string with the patterns. I was not able to draw Foufou as I could not find it so I drew a single bird with all other tangle patterns required. I had a great time and added some colors for the beautiful spring we're having. Thank you!  Sarah

It's a String Thing #92. Baking...

Here are the results of my attempt. I'm not feeling well from allergies but I did the challenge!  It had great tangles to try. Still learning but having fun!  Sarah

Here is my sketchbook

Joey's Weekly Challenge #60

This tangle gave me flashbacks to 'Dancet'. Not necessarily good memories with Dancet to be quite honest , but I made this one bend to my will, which is fun, and I had a good time. It's a ZIA from hunting for mushrooms today in the woods. No luck though. Just have to settle for the ones in my tile. :)

Diva Challenge #217 Duotangle

This challenge was a challenge in a challenge for me!  I figured out something so that counts I suppose!  Sarah

Tackle It Tuesday. String007

It's the 007 string. Nothing mysterious on my tile. Experimenting for better or worse with shading.  Used wave, paid, wheelz, and watermelon seedz.

Diane and Carolien's challenge: MNO

Might have already posted this but oh well!  I used Mumsy, off key and one other by Linda Farmer that I forgot to write down that begins with an 'n'. Whoops. Lots of fun. I liked the head start we got on it. :)
Sarah

Every Inchie Monday: leopard

I thought I'd try the pattern on the Asian Cloud Leopard's coat. When I wrote 'coat' on my Inchie it didn't mean a fur coat made for humans or anything related to using animals for their skins. The coats look best on the animals!!! :)
Sarah

String Thing 91 'V'

Interesting but deceiving string. Looked easy but sometimes they turn out to be the hardest!  Had trouble deciding what to use where. The eternal dilemma of the string on a tile!   :)
