I Am The Diva Challenge- 'a bit of black'

I tried. But it was interesting trying to vary tones. Darned Wink of Stella pen got a bit wild on me but in someways it saved my but by creating contrast. Love the Wink brushes, just not the flow...

  6. This is a nice study of dark and light. I love the Wink of Stella pen idea, but like you, just don't like the way they flow. Ah well, live and learn. But I do like the subtlety of contrast you drew here. Nice job!

  7. Oh no, another art supply for me to check out. ;-) I've never heard of Wink of Stella pens. I would think that tangling would be tough with a brush rather than a pen. It does produce a different look. For me, your tile suggests something foreboding. It also reminds me of the gray skies we seem to have a lot more often than not here in Philadelphia.
