Mine is simple this week. Having some problems with a med adjustment. Felt good to draw and paint though.
I used a scotch tape dispenser and scissor handles and a chewed up eraser from the dog. Tulips have been everywhere and they cheered me up a bit. Second pic shows how my outline started.
It turned out so lovely! Thank you so much for sharing both the start and the finish, I love seeing how simple things can become works of beauty with the right touch.
We were in Oregon last week and the tulips were in full regalia and the weather very fine! Your tile is lovely and I am sure the corgie is approving! Hope you're better soon.
That's an amazing string ... would never have known what you were using to make it. The tile is beautiful and I love the colors. Hope that this week will see you feeling much better.
Gorgeous shapes and color!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Color just kind of came along unexpectedly. :)

The tulips really are cheerful! Nice tile.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked them. Cheerful is what I needed. I lost a dear friend and it was a very difficult week.
DeleteVery pretty with the tulips!! Take care!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm finding tulips to be a great flower to use in tangles this time of year. Sarah.

ReplyDeleteThat's nice of you. It's fun for me too. Especially if it turns out ok. Sarah.
DeleteYou never know where the inspiration will come from! Lovely watercolor; the corgi would be happy. Have a brilliant day! c
ReplyDeleteThe corgi is happy as well as I me for once. I just enjoyed working with the flowers so much.
DeleteI really like your completed tile. Very spring like and the colors are nice. I also like seeing the original string.
