I love them both, but I really like the color labyrinth best. It has a Native American feel to it and the colors feel like the Southwestern US. Beautiful tiles!
P.S. I hope this posts...I've tried to leave a comment 3 times. I must be hitting the wrong key.
I love your coloured one, but the Labyrinth is nice as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Each labyrinth went opposite ways in the way of their style. Sarah.
DeleteLove your take on this challenge, both are pretty. I hope I manage to draw a labyrinth this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm glad you liked both. I'm happier with two than one this time. :)
DeleteSarah.
Fun pieces. The labyrinth challenge was a very different one for sure. I love your use of bright colors too.
ReplyDeleteAt first I was discouraged but then figured out it was a fun shape to play with. Sarah.
DeleteBoth are beautiful and so very different.
ReplyDeleteThanks! That about sums it up. Different! :) Sarah
DeleteBoth are quite unique Sarah. The brown one has some style to it, and the colourful one is very artistic.
ReplyDeleteOne is overly done with color etc and the other focused on the shape more. Glad you stopped by. Sarah.
DeleteI especially like the orangey labyrinth (and the patterns below it). Great shading.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I've been trying to do more with shading for depth. Glad you liked it. Sarah.
DeleteThese both have unique features! My favorite is the one with the most color...he who has the most color wins!!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I'm addicted to color, but I wanted to try going simple with the second one to see if I could do it! :). Sarah.
DeleteThe colorful one looks very "Aztec", the gray very "primal".
ReplyDeleteGood eye! The first one is modeled after the line drawings in the desert of South American only seen by plane. Glad you got my idea. Sarah.
DeleteVery nice, they both have a certain "native" feel to them, especially the first which for some reason reminds me of Aztec art. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you to say. I appreciate it! Sarah.
