It's a String Thing Challenge #90
For this challenge I couldn't be happier with the tangles chosen to use. Had to modify the string a bit, but it was great as well. 'Lanie' was a great tangle you designed and is pretty when finished! Thank you! I'll be using it again! :)
Diane & Caroliens challenge #4 J K L
This week's challenge was a lot of fun. I really focused on the tangles themselves as I need to do more times than others. I used Keeko, Loop, K.A.F., Jumu and Kozy. Thanks for stopping by! Sarah.

Joey's weekly challenge #58 chimes
Used the string and tangle and tried to keep it simple. That string kind of had me scratching my head as usual for me! I tried to keep it to the nature theme as well. It works! Sarah.
DZS mei 2015
Thank you for letting me participate. I used 4 inch x 6 inch postcard for my tile. Unfortunately I forgot to use one of the tangles and it was one I even knew-catkin. :(
I had a great time. Thank you from Sarah and Teigr the corgi.

Diane and Caroliens Challenge 'GHI'
These tangles, hollibaugh, intwine and Girdy are my choices for the week. For knowing so little without any classes I was pretty pleased to be able to draw some tough tangles ( to me at least!). Thanks for letting me participate! It's a great Challenge! Sarah.
Its a string thing #89'Queen'.
According to the guidelines I fit all of the tangles in amazingly enough to me. I've never received any instruction so using all of these tangles that turned out pretty nice was fun. I really enjoyed the challenge.
Sarah.
P.S. My corgi approves of the design for the Queen of England. :)

Joey's challenge 57 beach string.
Rippling and movement I tried to separate by earth and sky. I call it duck pond for the pond/lake by my house that has rippled sand and birds moving about.
I love it and I hate this tile. It evolved in strange ways. Go easy on me. :)
Sarah
That's new to me 'R'
This is what I call 'stop while you're ahead'. I got into the tangles Rosettes and Rosette Buds that before I knew it they were everywhere! And so I stopped and detailed it and was happy. Each new tangle gets easier to accomplish. I reall like this challenge. Sarah.

Diva challenge 214 'nature inspired'
I didn't intend to do a 9x12 as a tile but I just went with the idea. Sun at night and day. Music listening to while drawing: Frank Sinatra. Used marker, micron pens and watercolor and pencil too. It'll make a good Mother's Day present at the least!
Sarah.

Tackle it Tuesday- string 004
Challenge for Tuesday 4/14/15 from Sarah and Teigr the corgi from hungrycorgistudio! We used the string and our tangles were baskit, garlic cloves, and brabs, which all are new for me. Most of everything is new to me at this point! :)
Sarah
String thing challenge #88
I think I did it ok. I used both tangles in the string provided and had a lot of fun with this. Thanks! Sarah.

New to Me Challenge 15
There was a lot to choose from. I'm having some trouble adjusting to some medication so mine is very simple this week. But it was nice to relax and do.
Sarah.
Diva Challenge week 213
Mine is simple this week. Having some problems with a med adjustment. Felt good to draw and paint though.
I used a scotch tape dispenser and scissor handles and a chewed up eraser from the dog. Tulips have been everywhere and they cheered me up a bit. Second pic shows how my outline started.

Diva Challenge 4/7/2015
I did two tiles as I felt like one was too loose and like a drawing so I also did a one that uses the tangle only, more structured.
Art for the week.
I will be posting other stuff than just challenges on Friday/Saturday for what I've named 'Look what I did Mom!' .
So Mom and others can peek in on what I do squirreled away at my desk. Some tangles and drawings etc from challenges and other projects. You're all welcome to look. Hi Mom! Sarah.

Joey's weekly challenge 4/6/2015
This was a fun tangle but I could have been more precise to the angles and bumps. But I loved the tangle and always find it to be around so many good artists to learn from. Sarah

Diane & Carolien’s Challenge April 6
I am doing this challenge my first time this week. My tile ended up blue because I had the song by New Order 'Blue Monday' stuck in my head yesterday.
I used cadent and bales and allium and angel fish. Watercolor pencil and markers of course. Can't wait until I get my real box of watecolors soon. Pencils breaking driving me crazy! Thanks! Sarah.

That's new to me weekly challenge 14
This really made me research and use my brain Suzy! Thanks though. I'll be a better artist for it someday. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed participating. Thanks! There are two tiles. I really got ambitious!
Below that one uses Quanxi and Queen of the Nile.

First time trying a Zendala to 'design'. Ive colored many, but using tangles and drawing was definitely a challenge. I call it 'spring leaves, dirt and flowers and worms '.
