I did two versions. One in a grayish way, kind of tonal, and one full of color.
I'd be hard pressed to remember which tangles are which, but I know I used Fassett, Printemps, Shnek, Cali, Zander, Mumsy on the colored one and Ogel, and some new ones I forget. Ah well.
Hard to decide which is my favorite....they are both so beautiful. I tend to be partial to a bit of color but I like your grey toned one as well. You definitely have a grasp on how to use the greys to your advantage. Nicely done!
What a contrast between the two tiles. The coloured one is so bright and full of life and the tonal one so dramatic and filme noir.
ReplyDeleteNice ways to use stripes. I love the colored one with all the blending!
ReplyDeleteThese are both great! The first one looks very tribal. Those colors are so lovely with those pattern choices;-)
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic responses to the challenge. The coloured one is my favourite
ReplyDeleteThanks Tortoise! Color makes me happy too!
DeleteLove them both. The grays because of the great contrast, and the color because of the lovely blends.
ReplyDeleteoh my these are both so good! the palette on the colored one is just perfect...warming and soothing.
ReplyDeleteI like both tiles :-) Usually I prefer black-and-white ones but your colored tile is so beautiful too! Nice work!
ReplyDeleteBoth tiles are so lovely, very different, but you can tell they're yours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful in their own way
