I'm not the best with lines but they are mine. And that's okay. I'll never be a straight line drawer. That's why we're all here though as I suppose, to show each one of us is unique and our work a pleasure to be shared. I am so tired of the black and white kick I've been on so I added some Tim Holtz Distress Markers for some color. I love how it takes on a life of its own and isn't predictable when sprayed with water. See ya later!

I like the color too. I kind of am a straight line person, but this one was difficult for me too. I think I'll probably always need to have the step outs in front of me to get it right.Nice.
ReplyDeleteA tough nut to crack, this Rautyflex! I really like your version, with the color and rounded petals.
ReplyDeleteCreatively cool with added zest in the colors, Sarah.
ReplyDeleteYour lines and colours are quite creative, Sarah, just so YOU! Have a brilliant day! Cheryl
ReplyDeleteLove the colours you've added. Great result!
ReplyDeleteI love that Zentangle doesn't require the use of any "straight" lines. Your is very well done and I love the added color!
ReplyDeleteGreat job with this very tricky pattern! I love your colors.
ReplyDeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteI love your wonky line with color version of this tangle!
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow in your tile; it gives a little bit of spring.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your introduction. We are all here to share and learn from each other, no matter what our style or how well we can draw straight lines.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite shape in Rautyflex is that kind of jagged pointy thing that shows up between the squares, and the way you've done it here, with the green behind or intermingled with the puffy squares. Looks good.
ReplyDeleteIt never occurred to me to soften this pattern with any rounding - it really works.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely variation of Rautyflex! Wonderful tile!
ReplyDeleteYour take on Rautyflex is great with your perspective and curving, nice job.
