It's a String Thing- #122

Here is my entry for this week. We could choose three tangles, but I chose just one. I stayed in the string too!

I'm beginning to understand tangling and ability to do certain things. I'm not multi-dimensional, will never contort a tangle or make it 'shine' the way others do, but my flat, well loved tangles tell the story of someone who loves the art of it and that is beautiful in itself. I do get discouraged and wish sometimes I could do what others do, but what we each do brings something beautiful to the table. Maybe just a curve in a line, maybe a drop shadow. Seeing what we do together is a really enjoyable and lovely.

This is a great tangle. It's so relaxing to draw and one you can really get into. I didn't do anything really special, but I just enjoyed the moment of drawing, I didn't need anything else.

I used Umbleweed, kiwi, Catkin, and Keeko. I had a bit of extra fun and did it on a larger size journal page. But I get so inspired to pick so many great tangles I can't contain myself to 3.5".

Here is my rough Aquafleur tree. I hope it's halfway what it's supposed to look like. I always feel a bit sloppy. :)

That's New to me Challenge -'another X'

Here is another tile for this week and a half. I wanted to do another one since I'm so resistant to every 'X ' tangle I find. This one is called simply, 'X' as you know.

Joey's Weekly Challenge-Zinger

Admitting that I don't like Zinger would be true. But, after approaching it from a different perspective and having some time to really just try it out, I don't mind it. I actually like how it turned out. I can't believe I'm saying this about Zinger! Thanks for giving me a chance to give Zinger a second chance. Tangles are funny creatures...
