I am the Diva Challenge #220

I went for a gray tile black lines and shading in graphite and black and white pencil. It's called a challenge so I took a chance for better or worse. Call overshaders anonymous for me. Help.

  1. I like it, even though it reminds me of those running down corridors dreams, where the door at the end never gets any nearer. Or is it just me?

    1. Im amused by your comment as I have been having repetitive dreams as well. I hope you get to the end of the hall with a door! :)

  2. I was thinking doors and corridors too - Love Margaret's comment… Very effective tile - you will probably get a few people who have emotional responses! Nicely done.

  4. Overshadowers of the World Unite. I'm not actually in that august group yet. I'm still under shadowing. Now that Margaret and Sue have planted the doors and corridors idea in my derivative little brain, I can pretty much predict tonight's nightmare----which is not to say your tile is nightmarish. It's evocative. :)

  14. I really like your tile. The shading and highlighting are outstanding and yes, like the others, they remind me of hallways. I can't remember the movie that it was in, but when you entered the hallway, it was the proper size and kept getting smaller the closer to the end that you got. It was really a neat effect and you captured it very well in your tile. Your linework is amazing, as everything looks so nicely lined up. Wish I could do that. Nice job!
