This string I used lent itself well to use like the strands of beads we used to make when we were kids. I especially remember the twirly flower ones and the shell ones. Phicops reminded me of a certain bead I had, and beedz was like costume jewelry I used to play with.
Great job to Laura and family on their run!

It is interesting how we always taps into our childhood memories for making art. Lovely colors and tangles.
ReplyDeleteI think we, where ever we lived, mad necklaces and crown of flower beads. Thanks for reminding. Your zia is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, These remind me of those necklaces Grandma would let us play with as a child. I like the limited colour palette and that little bit of shine. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe twirly flower ones: I remember them too :-)
ReplyDeleteNice!

This is so pretty! Your post does bring back memories, and your tile is like taking a peek into that box of jewelry that Grandma would let us play with. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Love the colors!
