I am the Diva Challenge-guest-'tree'

Climate change is saddening but as long as it is not ignored there is hope I think. This challenge really touched me in how resourceful and giving Mr. Patel is in trying to do his part. I especially love how you grow tree saplings and give them away. The power of one little plant is mighty when left to grow. I used to plant lots of trees, so this really spoke to me. So here are two tiles. I had fun and couldn't decide. Thanks Mr. Patel!

Diane and Carolien's Challenge-WHN

Hwn, wnh, nhw, however you arrange it. I tried out two new tangles I found on an app. Hairy, and Niuroda. Wist is one you probably recognize but it fit the vertical length I needed. Had a great time. Just drew in my sketchbook and ripped it out!

Tackle it Tuesday Challenge 'W'

I made my string with Wist in the form of the tangle. Ink dyed paper, Pitt pens, and colored pencil. Thanks for letting me join in!
Sarah

It's a String Thing- Thanksgiving

Gordeous (sp?) and Lichen are delightful. It was a bit hard squashing those gourds into tight spots on the string but I stuck to it mostly. :)
Happy Thanksgiving, and I'm thankful to be a part of a challenge with such incredible artists. Drawing with all of you makes me a better tangler.

Joey's Weekly Challenge-Yuma

Always have liked this one so I was more than happy to take part. I used Pitt Pens, Sakura Glaze, colored pencil and ink spray. Thanks all!

Tangle Me Three- Points and Curves

I agree. There is a festive flair to this tangle. I'll be sure to use it again. Nice choice for this week!  Thanks Suzy!

That's New to Me - X

I picked Xyp but in a form and variation I'd never seen before. It was nothing like the one I'd used once one time before who knows when. So I added shading, lines, a tighter aura bigger diamonds and it's like a whole new tangle. So technically I had done this before I guess but I had to learn it all over again in six stepouts. I liked the artist focus tangle. It fit with Xyp really well. Left white space too. Thanks Suzy!

This is how long my tiles from the raffle lasted me, November 22nd was my last one. Thanks again. I made many a wonderful drawing upon them!

I am the Diva Challenge - Hollibaugh

I tried out some textures and gradients and color and inking. I had a great time and used a lot of fun stuff. Curving some lines seemed like a good idea, but it's hard to find a way to end them as I have now found out. But sometimes you just go where the pen leads, right?  Thanks!

P.S. Used Distress markers. Loving them!!!

That's New to Me Challenge-'I'and artist

I chose some new tangles for sure to me!  I really enjoyed this week's artist focus, and loved her tangles. I went to her site and found the weird curly thing called Jaybarz and from my app, the crazy Christmas bow gone wild that is called Intersect. So glad to have finished what seemed simple, but became rather involved as I got used to the patterns. Thanks for having a challenge for the week!  Great fun!  :)

Diane and Carolien's Challenge-'B-E-X'

Chose Bronx Cheer, a tangle that starts with an e but forgot to write down (honestly! I swear! ) and Xyp. I used a string kind of. That's always progress for me. Been trying out the Pitt pens too. They are really nice and easy on the wrist. Easy to color in too. Never have to go over it again. Anyways, thanks for another great week!

It's a String Thing-Coke bottle string

First I must say- I love these tangles you picked!  I was really excited to work with them. The string was really different too, and could've lent itself to so many combinations!  I used a 01 Sakura Micron pen in black, with pencil on a 3.5"x3.5" tile. Yes. I tried my hardest to keep up with all of you talented Zentangle artists. I really feel good that this is something I was able to do. Thanks Adele!

Or nation Creation-Feathers

They're feathers. Yup.
Sarah

Tackle it Tuesday- V

I chose to tangle around using v as my string with Verve and Vigne in the center.
Two very different tangles to highlight the difference in the string. Thanks!
Sarah.

Joey's Weekly Challenge-X-plode

I curved the top to do something different. It is the only tangle I've done I had a nightmare about so I went and rounded it to make it friendly. :)
Thanks!
Sarah.

Diva Challenge-Tripoli

I was also not a fan of this tangle at first but now after playing with it over time it is great to have as a tangle in your basket of tricks!

I am the Diva Challenge- empty space

Never great with percentages or mathematics in general so I may have not hit the perfect range of empty spots, but there was a concerted effort shown. :)
I used Auraleaf, Fürn, and Spoonflower.
On a inked tile with gelato sand Sakura pen in mettalic. Very enjoyable and a great idea for a challenge!
Sarah.

Joeys Weekly Challenge-W2

Felt inspired to do an extra for W2. So two for the price of one. Thanks!
Sarah

Diane and Carolien's Challenge-ukh

I used Umbleweed, Kiwi, and Hatch.
All new for me to try out. Got a few new things off apps on my iPhone. So fun to just look them up!
Sarah

String Thing Challenge-odd numbers

I used two of the tangles to try out. Wanted to do something I hadn't tried before. Worked out kind of fun with the squares and the string!

Tackle it Tuesday-'T'

I chose Thlycum and Twiggy. Got a few Zentangle apps and am having fun just going to an alphabetical system of tangles!  Thanks!
Sarah

String Thing 'Sand' mono tangle challenge

I thought there were a lot of steps at first, but upon closer inspection the idea of the tangle is very balanced and well thought out. Hence the great step-outs that Ms. Bruno did for this new tangle of hers!  I just had fun with Sakura Soufflé pens, glaze pens, and I can proudly say I stuck to the string!  Always an accomplishment for me!  Thanks!

Diane and Carolien's Challenge 'SFT'

I chose Spoonflower Fürn, and Twiggy. Micron pen, Sakura Glaze pens, and distress ink spray.
Thanks!
Sarah

Diva Challenge-'Gourdgeous'

Hope I spelled that right. I used the new tangle which I'm still getting the hang of with a new one for me called Spoonflower. Moonlight and Soufflé pens.
Sarah.

Tangle me Three Challenge 'Hepmee'

A fun tangle to use that I haven't seen before. Always fun to experiment with a new one!  Thanks!
Sarah.

That's new to me- ' M and artist'

I chose Mooka since I've only drawn it in a sketch book once or twice. Never in a tile. Hard to believe? Yes but it's true. Never got around to using it. And I found more tangles by the artist and loved Spoonflower. So there's that and Aura Leaf there too. It all kind of meanders.
Sarah.
