I Am the Diva Challenge-Skye

I tried this to tangle this to the point of tears two weeks ago. But after having a break and just drawing it in pencil we've come to meet in the middle, this tangle and I. I'm exhausted. Skye burns my brains out.

It's a String Thing #146 'C'

Let them eat Cayke.
That's about all I've got folks!
Thanks,
Sarah

I am the Diva Challenge- 'Ellish '.

Thank goodness this is not a Celtic knot kind of tangle. After trying out Skye it's going to be awhile before I get into those knotted things!
This is a nice tangle and I'm sure I'll use it sometime again.
With stepouts.
Thanks,
Sarah

Joey's Weekly Challenge-14 XIV

I used all tangles except for cheesecloth.
Good choices for tangles. I've been working on a book that has a lesson each day in it and it's really helped with my focus. I think we all know what one it is. But I had a great time and colored with ink and colored pencils.

IAST-#145 Skye

I had given up and beat myself up over my 'failure' on the first tile. But a new day came and I knew I had to try to make a go of this tangle if not for me, but Ms. Bruno who leads us along each week on an adventure of strings and mix of creativity.
So here is a tile finished with pride,-- for you Ms. Bruno.

Two by Tuesday: Echo

I tangled Opus, which reminds me of a musical score to a symphonic piece or just in its form as a tangle how it undulates and repeats.
Thanks Ms. Cheryl for your kind words, birthday card and wishes, and gently including me in your challenge again.
A true artist and friend!
Thanks,
Sarah

Joey's Weekly Challenge-13 XIII

Eh. It's ok. I did the string though. But it's still a bit blah.
Oh well

I Am The Diva Challenge- 'a bit of black'

I tried. But it was interesting trying to vary tones. Darned Wink of Stella pen got a bit wild on me but in someways it saved my but by creating contrast. Love the Wink brushes, just not the flow...

Diane and Carolien's Challenge-VEY

Vigne, Ennies, and Yful-Power is what I chose. Please ignore the grid drawn in pen by my idiot self on the yful. Oops.
Thanks!
Sarah

It's a String Thing 'Mom'

Here is my entry for the week. Kind of ended up in a duotangle thing. Hollyhock will take some time to perfect, and my lines on 4Mom aren't great as usual but I like the contrast. I shall leave it without color!  Thanks
Sarah.

Joey's Weekly Challenge-Twelve 'XII'

This tile proved to be more therapeutic than a stunning work of art, but I needed this today. I'm just worn out from everything going on around me and this was a good break. Thanks for another great string idea!

I am the Diva challenge- Drupe and Poke Root

I don't mind these duotangle challenges since I was introduced to the idea years ago. Here's what you do. Draw it.
Sometimes it's that simple.
Draw!

Joey's Weekly challenge-eleven XI

This week had another challenging string but it worked out ok. I used a bit of Shon and the tangles Vache and Susa. Love the Neil Burley tangles!  Great picks!
Thanks!

I Am The Diva-UMT -Crux

Today's tangle to put it simply was a flashback to geometry class in sophomore year of high school. I tried to understand the idea but felt like I couldn't get much farther beyond the shape being just what it was. A great tangle now that I know it, but putting it into practice with something else is too much of a jump in the deep end. I tried hard not to belly flop this week...
