I AmThe Diva Challenge-something

I couldn't hack that geometric stuff with this week's umt so I did something totally opposite. No grid, nothing precise and more flowing.
Just wanted to still take part.

  3. Not every tangle is for everyone. I always tell my students, if you don't like it, don't use it. Zentangle is to be relaxing, never stressful. One day you may come back to it and decide you actually love it. That happens to me sometimes! I do like the colorful piece you composed instead though!

  5. I'm glad you still did some art and shared it. No need to do something that gives you flashbacks to 10th grade geometry class. There's a reason our sons only went to their father for help with their geometry homework. ;-) On Daniel's blog post about Knightstar someone posted a link in a comment to a video of another way to approach this tangle. I did it Daniel's way for my tiled and it eventually grew on me, but the other approach might work for you.

  8. Fair enough. At least you created art. Knightstar is not an easy pattern and really requires intense focus.

  9. Ah, geometry, just different! I'm glad your brain could get to Zen without getting all tangled up over the pattern. Good for you to tackle it in your own special way with beautiful results. Cheryl
